AG 22 Overview
AG 22 is an advisory group within ISO/IEC JTC 1, established to identify and foster collaboration opportunities between JTC 1 and the World Economic Forum (WEF). Its core responsibilities include:
- Identifying JTC 1 projects and deliverables that align with WEF’s strategic interests.
- Highlighting gaps and opportunities where JTC 1 standards can support WEF initiatives.
- Encouraging WEF contributions to inform the development of JTC 1 standards.
- Aligning JTC 1 activities with WEF publications and events.
- Reporting progress at each JTC 1 Plenary.
AG 22 was established during the May 2024 JTC 1 Plenary held in Darwin, Australia. Since its inception, the group has explored various domains where JTC 1 can play a meaningful and supportive role in advancing WEF priorities.
Initial engagement concepts will be presented at the upcoming November 2025 Plenary in Chengdu, China. AG 22 aims to gather feedback from JTC 1 members on proposed collaboration ideas and approaches prior to implementing recommended engagement activities.
