Events

In response to the TMB/SMB comments (JTC 1 N15815) on the proposed JTC 1/SC 43 (Brain-computer Interfaces), JTC 1 approved the modified SC 43 scope and instructed its Committee Manager to forward the modified SC 43 scope to TMB/SMB for approval.

JTC 1 established JTC 1 Ad Hoc Group 6 (AHG 6) on ISO/IEC 27013 and ISO/IEC TR 20000-7

JTC 1 reconstituted JTC 1 Ad Hoc Group 4 (AHG 4) on Collaboration Across Domains

JTC 1 instructed the JTC 1 Chair and Committee Manager to work with ITTF to provide guidance to the JTC 1 community on good practices for use of the Preliminary Work Item (PWI) process. Document JTC 1 N15767 should be used as the basis for such guidance.

JTC 1 resolves that any proposals to form a new JTC 1 Subcommittee must be supported by a detailed and final workshop presentation specifying the need for, scope of, proposed Programme of Work and relationship to other related work (if any). The proposal and supporting presentation must be submitted to no later than the 1st document deadline specified for the JTC 1 Plenary at which the proposal will be discussed.
