Introduction

ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 44 was established by ISO/TMB and IEC SMB in January 2025.  The group was established to continue the work initiated by ISO/PC 317, including the maintenance of ISO 31700:

Scope

Standardization of consumer protection in the field of privacy by design for products, goods and services, including their data lifecycles.
