Quantum information technology (formerly Quantum computing),established by ISO/IEC JTC1 in June 2020
WG 14 serves as a systems integration entity that focus on the JTC 1 quantum information technology standardization program and maintains relationships with related ISO and IEC technical committees and other organizations. Its purpose is to identify gaps and opportunities and develop deliverables in the area of quantum information technology standardization.
The current key deliverables include work item NP 4879, Quantum computing –Terminology and vocabulary, maintaining the study report of Quantum computing, and collecting use cases in this field.
