Look back at the recording of JTC 1’s workshop on Quantum Information Technology held virtually on April 5th 2023
ISO/IEC Joint Technical Committee (JTC) 1 began to study challenges and opportunities related to quantum computing and quantum technologies in 2015 with a study of post-quantum cryptography. JTC 1 initiated an evaluation of standardization opportunities in Quantum Computing in 2018 and formed a Quantum Computing Working Group in 2020, which became the Quantum Information Technology Working Group in.
This workshop featured presentations on projects and activities underway in ISO and IEC and explored future directions for Quantum Information Technology standards development.
